Since the winter meetings are over, it seems like a good time to take our annual look at what the minor league rosters might look like for the upcoming season. I include my guess at the Brewers' roster here so that the other rosters fall in to place, but that's not really what the discussion is about.

No not what you think, but he will be going to play in dominican Republic with the Toros. He will leave at the end of the week. The good thing is he will be a team mate of Alberto Castillo who is a master with young catchers, a great teacher.
dont expect angel to hit well the first few games, he has not seen live, game pitching in a loooong time but he is ready everywhere else and will hit soon enough.

Here is how the Brewers have chosen to line up and protect players prior to Thursday's Rule 5 draft. Sorry, we don't have the formal list of all organizations available at this time. Baseball America may release that later.

Players protected at the AAA level are eligible to be plucked in the Major League phase, and you're all familiar with that.

As a devout Louisville baseball fan who followed Derrick all four years at Louisville, I would love to here some opinions of the fans who have seen him play. He was sensational defensively at U of L. He started all 4 years and was considered one of the top defensive catchers in the entire nation, throwing out 63% of runners his senior year.

Just wondering if any Major League teams have made any decisions regarding renewing and not renewing their agreements with their affiliates for the 2010 season. For example when the Brewers decided to make the switch to the T-Rats last season after the T-Rattlers longstanding relationship with the Mariners.
