Here's your Daily Link to Chris Mehring's Rattler Radio Blog.
Rather than paste to specific gameday notes links going forward, we suggest you simply go to the main blog and review all that day's posts later in the afternoon, including the pre-game notes. That way you won't miss out on other tidbits like Chris' "Man vs. Food" update today (wonderful Travel Channel show, by the way). Look for the link to Chris' blog to be included in the Nashville links post just above going forward. |

Anundsen struggling a bit, but still with a nice 6/1/5 K/BB/H in six innings. He had the sinker going early, but the GO/AO is now even at 6/6.
Peralta's perfect through two innings with four strikeouts, ready to assume the mantle of the best right-handed (and perhaps best, period) pitching prospect in the system. Huntsville's game has no box score despite the fact that it's supposed to have been underway for 40 minutes now. Maybe they're trying to find Taylor Green. |

Six K's through three for Peralta now.

Bump up Peralta to replace Jeffress?

Anundsen at 7 IP, 3 ER, just 5 hits and two walks with 9 K's. I am really hoping for him to get called up soon.

Peralta allowed a two-run homer to Josh Vitters in the 4th, but struck out two more.
Anundsen walked the leadoff batter in the 7th and then the next guy reached on a sac bunt attempt, but Anundsen struck out the next three batters swinging. Neither a hit nor an error has been posted for the bunt attempt. |

Well, it's in the 4th inning for Huntsville, I guess the box score guy is having some problems. It's 5-0 Stars after an RBI single by Shane Justis.
Lucroy is 0-3.

Logan Schafer's having a good night, 2-3 with a double and a walk. Omar Aguilar's on to relieve Anundsen in his first appearance since getting demoted.
Chris Archer is shutting down the T-Rats. He came over from Cleveland in the Mark DeRosa trade. He's walked four but allowed no hits through four innings. Nashville's game is listed as "Delayed Start: Other". Aliens? |

Nine strikeouts through five innings now for Peralta. Still no walks.
Josh Prince walked to lead off Helena's game and (predictably) tried to steal, but was thrown out. |

Aguilar with two shutout innings allowing one walk with two strikeouts. Tied 3-3 with the Manatees coming up in the bottom of the 9th.
Peralta struggled a bit in the 6th, allowing two hits and his first walk, but got out of it without allowing a run and with another strikeout, 10 now. Very impressive. |

That's now 77 strikeouts and only 17 walks in 60.1 innings for Peralta this year (assuming he's done after 6 innings). Very impressive.

Peralta is quickly becoming one of my favorite pitching prospects besides Braddock. He now has 77 strikeouts and 17 walks in about 60 innings. He's
allowed just one homerun as well.
Edit: Ahh, beat me to it trwi7. |

It looks like BC has come back to win in the bottom of the 9th. Aguilar is listed as getting a W but the rest of the box score hasn't updated.

Peralta seems posed to make the jump to high A soon. With the Jeffress suspension and Anundsen seeming like he deserves a promotion there will be some spots
opening up there and Peralta has done everything you could ask in low A
